My favorite things about Fall

First and foremost I do realize that the correct name for the season is Autumn. However it will always be fall to me, because the leaves fall off the trees. It just makes sense. Fall was my great grandmother's favorite season. One reason I like fall is because it reminds me of her. There is something so beautiful about the leaves changing colors. I love to see the many colors on the trees.
(Picture taken at a rest area)
I love taking walks in the fall. The sound of leaves crunching under your feet, the cool crisp air on your face. The fact that I can wear scarves, my Ugg boots, a sweater, or a hoodie. I love the fall smells. When the stores put out fall scented candles, my kids and I have to smell everyone of them.
Each year I look forward to picking a pumpkin with each child, then carving them, and watching their faces light up when we light the pumpkins and turn out all of the lights.
(This was our middle child's very first pumpkin)

Roasting marshmallows and making smores by the fire.
Collecting leaves for craft projects with the kids.
Watching the kids look at each leaf and realize they are all different, yet all beautiful at the same time. (There's a life lesson to teach them. We are all different, yet we all are beautiful!)
Raking the leaves into a pile and jumping in.
(Fun in the leaves)
(Fall Sunset)

I look forward to pumpkin pies, and being with family and friends. Getting up early to start the turkey on Thanksgiving day, so there is enough time to do a ham as well. The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade playing on T.V. and the kids getting excited over each balloon. Cooking and baking for two days, just to be able to sit down and enjoy a wonderful feast with loved ones. Then having left overs for a week.
What are some of your favorite things about Fall?

Philosophy Review

I am a Smiley360 agent. I recently received and tried for free the microdelivery vitamin c peptide peel from philosophy!

Philosophy pioneered a next generation medical microdermabrasion procedure that rapidly resurfaces as it replenishes the skin with vitamin c.
The microdelivery vitamin c peptide peel is a two-step, in-home peel that resurfaces and rejuvenates sun-damaged, hyperpigmented and aging skin. what makes this next generation microdelivery vitamin c peptide peel so revolutionary is that unlike peels of the past that only exfoliated, this peel delivers peptides and vitamin c to the skin as it is being rapidly exfoliated. it is resurfacing and replenishing the skin at the same time, which is a new approach to skin rejuvenation. best of all, it involves absolutely no downtime.
the two-step process:
• step 1 - vitamin c/peptide resurfacing crystals - apply a teaspoon amount to clean, dry skin. once applied, crystals should appear almost like a mask. gently massage in a circular motion over entire face for up to 60 seconds, avoiding eye area. do not scrub. (use less pressure for sensitive skin.)
• step 2 - lactic/salicylic acid activating gel - place a generous teaspoon amount in the palm of your hand. massage gel onto fingertips, and apply on top of crystals. as activator is applied, a warming sensation will occur. white foam will appear, indicating activation. leave foam on 2-3 minutes to infuse vitamin c and peptides into the skin. (you can massage foam for extra exfoliating benefits or let it sit for sensitive skin.) rinse thoroughly. (you can use a washcloth for removal, to avoid getting the peel in your hair).

After using this product my face felt lighter, cleaner, and I did have a little bit of redness, however after it went away (about 5 minutes later) my skin looked great! I highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a new skin care regimen. Let's start making skin care a priority!

Goodness Knows Snacks Squares Review

I am a smiley 360 agent, and recently tried Goodness Knows Snacks Squares for free. I was so excited to get the box in the mail. I couldn't wait to try to snack bars. I am a busy mom of 3 boys and I am always looking for healthy on the go snacks.

When I opened the package I was surprised to see 3 snack bars and a tote bag. I LOVE tote bags. I tried the bars with my boys. Anyone with kids knows that you have to share it, cause when they hear that wrapper they usually come running.

We tried "Very Cranberry" and "Peachy Cherry". While they were both tasty, I really liked the Peachy Cherry. Which is a surprise because I normally don't like anything peach. They both have just the right amount of nuts, and chocolate, with fruit. You can actually see what you're eating, rather than trying to guess what ingredients are inside.

• Each goodnessknows® snack squares serving (4 squares per pack) has 150 calories – 38 per square!
• goodnessknows® snack squares has no high fructose corn syrup and contains no artificial colors, flavors or sweeteners.
• 100 mg of natural cocoa flavanols per serving
• Comes in 3 different flavors:
•Cranberry, almond, dark chocolate
•Peach & cherry, almond, dark chocolate
•Apple, almond & peanut, dark chocolate
Note: The apple, almond & peanut, and dark chocolate flavor will not be in all stores until 2016

Chobani review

As you all know I am a BzzAgent. I recently received coupons to try Chobani Greek yogurt for free. We were given a free coupon for 1 Chobani flip (we tried to Carmel and pretzel), 1 coupon for a free regular Greek yogurt (we tried strawberry banana), a free coupon for 1 simply 100 (we tried strawberry), and 1 free coupon for Chobani kids. (My local Kroger was sold out, and I still have to wait for the order to come in.)
When I say "We tried" I mean me and my kids. My kids LOVE yogurt.
While I normally like strawberry banana yogurt I did not really care for the Greek yogurt version. My 1 year old loved it though.
The strawberry Simply 100 wasn't too bad. A bit thicker than I'm used to. I think maybe all Greek yogurt is thicker? Not sure?!?
The Chobani Flip Carmel and pretzel was actually pretty good. Good enough that my 3 year old stole it for himself.

Chobani Simply 100 is the first and only 100-calorie made with only natural ingredients. You can find Chobani Greek yogurt, Chobani Simply 100, Chobani Flip, and Chobani kids at any of these Kroger Co. Family Stores.

Land o' Lakes European Style Super Premium Butter Review

I am a BzzAgent. BzzAgent sends me products that I try for free, and tell others what I thought about the product. You can sign up to be a BzzAgent Here.

Recently I was able to try Land o' Lakes European Style Super Premium Butter. It comes in stick form, and there are 2 sticks in each package. It is a little on the expensive side, however it is worth it. It is extremely easy to spread, and tastes wonderful. We bought the unsalted version, but it does come in salted as well.

We have used  Land o' Lakes European Style Super Premium Butter on toast, to cook with, to bake with, etc.... It gives everything a better flavor.
Land o' Lakes European Style Super Premium Butter has a creamier texture and richer flavor. It’s made with fresh sweet cream and churned for a higher milk fat content of 82%. Standard butter is only 80%. Available in pre-measured, ready-to-use sticks, individually wrapped to keep butter tasting fresh longer.
